Happy Fathers Day!
While preparing a sermon recently I was reminded of how much of a loving, kind, gracious, merciful, righteous, just, excellent, forgiving, faithful, trustworthy heavenly father we have!
We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. 23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins – Romans 3:22-24
He truly has done it all for us, even the faith that we have to exercise to come into a saving relationship with Him, through Christ Jesus, is in itself a gift (Ephesians 2:8). May you be reminded of how much He cares for you today on this Fathers Day. He really does love you!
